My grandson Henry moved it to the back of the lot, covered it with brick and allowed the storage building to be built in its place. We used to have a stable for horses and care for horses for residents and businesses all over the area, but now my house is surrounded by a parking lot for automobiles. The storage building was supposed to house the post office, stores and the Music Hall on the top floor. So, instead of a music hall there’s an empty storage building. What a disgrace. And look at the Robinson building across the way between Dorchester Avenue and Adams Street—they covered that in stucco. Who knows what structural problems they covered over with the stucco?
